Student stories

Real students. Real results.

Six months ago I couldn't pitch in English. Last week I closed a deal in front of our German board. WSE made the difference.
Karim — Business English student at WSE Dubai
Karim H.
Beirut → Dubai · Business English · B1 → C1
I needed Band 7 for my Master's at LSE. Got 7.5. The mock-exam routine and trainer feedback were exactly what I'd been missing.
Sofía — IELTS student at WSE Dubai
Sofía R.
Madrid → Dubai · IELTS · Band 7.5
Common questions

Which English course is right for you?

Quick answers to the questions students ask before they enrol. Still unsure? Talk to an advisor or take the placement test.

  • Which English course is right for me?
It depends on your goal. Pick Business English if you need it for work, Academic English for university, IELTS if you're sitting the exam, General English for everyday fluency, or CELTA if you want to teach. Not sure? Our free 10-minute placement test recommends the right course for your level and goal.
  • Do I need a placement test before enrolling?
Yes — but it's free and takes about 10 minutes. We use it to pinpoint your exact CEFR level (A1 to C2) so you start in the right class. No wasted weeks in a course that's too easy or too hard.
  • How much do English classes in Dubai cost?
Tuition starts from around AED 600 per week for general courses and varies by intensity, format and length. Tabby and Tamara split-pay are built into checkout (no interest, no fees). Full pricing and packages live on the Enrol page.
  • What's the difference between in-class and online?
Same teachers, same syllabus, same Cambridge-trained quality. In-class is in our Dubai centre — best for full immersion and Speaking labs. Online is live small-group classes — best if you're outside Dubai or working flexible hours. Many students mix both.
  • Are WSE trainers Cambridge-certified?
Yes — every trainer holds CELTA or DELTA from Cambridge English, plus an average of 8+ years' classroom experience. We also run a CELTA training centre ourselves, so we set the standard locally.
  • Can I get a UAE student visa for an English course?
Yes. Our long-form courses qualify for a UAE student visa, and our in-house team handles the paperwork — eligibility, documents and Emirates ID. 99% approval rate. See the Enrol page for visa help details.
  • What CEFR level will I reach by the end?
That depends on your starting level and how many hours per week you study. As a guide: students typically move one CEFR level (e.g. B1 → B2) every 12 weeks of intensive study. We track your progress with scored mocks every 4 weeks.
