Common questions

Still unsure?

Quick answers to the questions Academic English students ask before they enrol.

  • Will this get me into a UK or US university?
Yes — the Foundation Year and Pathways tracks are designed for direct entry. We have conditional-offer partnerships with several UK and US universities; talk to an advisor about which ones suit your goal.
  • How does this differ from IELTS Preparation?
IELTS Prep is about passing one test in a few weeks. Academic English builds the underlying ability to function at university — so IELTS becomes a side-effect, not the focus.
  • Can I switch to IELTS Prep mid-course?
Yes. If you've hit your CEFR target early, we can pivot the last 4–6 weeks into pure IELTS strategy. We do this regularly.
